CrappyBrowserGames.com is a one-person (plus one increasingly tired AI) collection of free browser games, established 2026. Every game is a single HTML file. No frameworks, no build step for the games themselves, no accounts, no downloads. You click, it loads, you play, you close the tab and forget it existed.
Because we miss it. The old web was ugly, fast and personal. This site is ugly, fast and personal on purpose. Comic Sans is a choice.
Yes. The site runs on ads, which is why there are ads. If you use an ad blocker, the games still work — we're crappy, not evil — but the ads are how we pay for hosting and coffee.
By hand, in a text editor, usually in a single sitting, usually with a bad idea as the starting point. Some are built with help from AI tools. Then they're played until they're fun or until it's late, whichever comes first.
