About Gnome Launcher
Gnome Launcher is a free one-button distance game. A garden gnome sits in a catapult. A meter swings for the angle; click to lock it. A meter fills for the power; click to lock that too. Then the gnome flies, bounces, tumbles, and eventually stops somewhere, and that somewhere is your score.
It's the classic launch game formula — the kind of thing you'd find on a flash games site in 2007 — with a tiny gnome and a lot of bouncing. Easy to play once, hard to stop playing.
How to Play Gnome Launcher
- Click, tap, or press Space to lock in the angle while the meter sweeps.
- Click, tap, or press Space again to lock the power while the bar fills.
- Watch the gnome fly. Bounces keep momentum; a flat landing kills it.
- The distance is your score. Beat your best, which is saved in the browser.
- Click to launch again. There is no menu. There is only gnome.
Tips & Tricks
- Around 45° is the textbook answer, but bounces reward slightly lower angles.
- Max power isn't always best if the angle is off — a clean bounce beats a cratered landing.
- The meters get faster over time to punish you. This is intentional.
